| No hats with obvious gang related logos such as XIV, neighborhoods, area codes or street names ( universities or sports teams may be worn).
No head covering of any type is to be worn in offices or where "NO HATS" signs are posted.
No hairnets allowed nor any head covering which the Administration has not deemed appropriate.
No sunglasses may be worn indoors except by prescription. |
| No dominant colors are allowed (no shirts and pants in one color), except dress suits and dresses.
No chains or jewelry with spikes, pistols, marijuana leaves are allowed.
No undershirt type tank tops are allowed.
No shorts or skirts shorter than mid-thigh.
All blouses/tops must have two straps for the left and right shoulder.
All straps on blouses or tops must have a minimum of ONE inch across and be solidly attached to the front and back of the blouse with stitching and covering both bra straps.
No midriff blouses which expose more than 3 inches of the midriff.
No sagging pants are allowed. Baggy pants are okay, but must worn at the waistline at all times.
No bandannas are to be worn on any part of the body except during school related sports activities.
Jackets, in general, will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
No vulgar language, drug or liquor symbols/words or gang-related identification is allowed on any item - ever.
Students who are in violation of the dress code will be brought to the vice-principal's office where they will call home and have a new change of clothes brought to school for them or sent back home for the remainder of the day. They will not be allowed in class until their clothing meets the guidelines of the Dress Code Policy.

| No head phones, CD players, ipods, or radios except if a teacher uses them as equipment.
No visible, audible beepers, cellular phones.
Cigarette lighters/matches are not allowed on campus.
NOTE: Any student who is found with an electronic device due to it being visible or audible during the hours of 7:50 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. will have the item confiscated by the administration or any school staff member.
- The first offense will result in having the device taken away and held in the vice-principal's office until the end of the school day. The offense will be recorded in the student's discipline file.
- The second, and subsequent offenses, will result in the device being taken away and returned only to the guardian of the student. There are no exceptions to this rule. All offenses will be recorded in the student's discipline file. Also, the student will receive an after-school detention.
- For the third and subsequent offenses, the student will have the device confiscated as mentioned above and two after-school detentions assigned.
- This policy begins in the 9th grade year and accumulates every year the student is in school. It does not begin new each school year.
