The Sequoia High School Parent Center first opened its doors in April of 2000. Since that time it has been serving Sequoia High School parents in a variety of ways. The Parent Center exists to serve as a resource to parents and helps them navigate the school system, answers questions, and makes referrals to school and community programs.
Meetings:
The Parent Center holds joint meetings with the English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC) the second Tuesday of every month in the Sequoia High School Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). These meetings are held in Spanish. Bi-monthly meetings in English will also be held this year.
Sequoia High Parents' classes:
- Classes in English as a Second Language - Tuesdays &Thursdays 7pm - 9pm
- Classes in Computers; Coming Soon!
- Periodic workshops on a variety of other topics
