Every Sequoia student now has a free Lynda.com account that provides computer, tablet, and smartphone access to professional on-line tutorials for most software applications. These accounts typically cost over $300 but Sequoia is able to provide access free to students because of a generous grant from the SAP corporation. Here are the steps for accessing your account:
Step 1: Go to www.lynda.com and click on the Log in link in the upper right hand corner of the home page.
Step 2: In the login page on the right side enter the district web site which is www.seq.org. This will bring you to a login window where you will enter your school ID as the login name and your first and last initial and six digit birth date as your password. (this is the same login you use to access your google apps account)
Step 3: Search the web site for the software you want to learn and start learning right away.
If you need assistance with this process check with your teachers or drop by room 241 and see Mr. Dodge.
