Caps/Gowns

In response to the requirements of recently enacted AB 1575, the Sequoia Union High School District this year will loan each senior a cap and gown for graduation.

  • The district will be purchasing the cap and gowns, which will then be checked out to seniors who are participating in the graduation ceremony
  • Students will have to return the gowns following the ceremony in order to receive the diploma. Caps and tassels may be kept as keepsakes.
  • Students should complete THIS FORM in order to submit measurements for their caps and gowns

Photos

  • Pre-order your graduation photos by registering on-line at www.gradimages.com
  • Families will be able to see photos before selecting and ordering
  • Most students will have one photo holding their diploma cover with the American flag in the background
  • Upon visiting the above website, follow the prompts for further information

Ceremony Attire

Attire for Graduates

  • Although you will be wearing your cap and gown, It is important that what you wear underneath is comfortable and appropriate for the ceremony. Plan for it to be a warm day, so wear something light (but up to school dress code) underneath.
  • No jeans or shorts
  • Comfortable shoes (no flip-flops or casual sandals will be allowed). High heels will sink into the turf, so make sure it is a wedge only
  • Please leave all cameras and other valuables at home or with a family member. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items during the ceremony.
  • Cultural stoles and leis may be worn over your gown.
