The Sequoia Parent Center

The Sequoia High School Parent Center first opened its doors in April of 2000. Since that time it has been serving Sequoia High School parents in a variety of ways. The Parent Center exists to serve as a resource to parents and helps them navigate the school system, answers questions, and makes referrals to school and community programs.

Meetings

The Parent Center holds joint meetings with the English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC) the second Tuesday of every month in the Sequoia High School Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). These meetings are held in Spanish. Bi-monthly meetings in English will also be held this year.

The Parent Center is pleased to offer classes to Sequoia High Parents:

  • Classes in English as a Second Language; Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm - 9pm
  • Classes in Computers; Coming Soon!
  • Periodic workshops on a variety of other topics
