What is the SAFE program at Sequoia?
Opportunities during the after school hours (3:15 - 6:00 PM) to get academic support and homework assistance in the Learning Center every day, to explore fields of interest that might develop into careers, to have some fun and learn new skills.
How do students register for after school classes?
Students may register for after school classes and activities during lunchtime in the Quad on Tuesday, August 24 and Thursday, August 26. Some classes have limited enrollment, so choose the classes you want and sign up early to assure a space in the class. Instructors will be present to answer questions.
Once registered, regular attendance is expected from all participants. Some classes can be used on an as needed basis, while others require regular attendance.
What are the awards for good attendance?
Award criteria will be based on regular and continued attendance in any of the classes.
