Concurrent Enrollment
COVID UPDATE: 
Since August 2020, the SUHSD will not issue principal’s certification for a university, online program, supplemental education center, and/or course publisher that does not have their own UC approved course list, even if they are accredited. SUHSD will not accept these courses for graduation or A-G. If students take these courses, they can report them on their college applications, but SUHSD will not allow them on our transcripts for A-G or graduation. It is the student and parent/guardians responsibility to contact colleges to see if they will honor it to meet college admissions requirements.
 
9-11th graders must take a minimum of six classes-four courses on site and substitute up to two courses at the community college.12th graders must take a minimum of five classes- three courses  must be on site and may substitute up to two courses through the community college.
 
Students may take a maximum of 40 credits (requirement and elective) may be earned by concurrent enrollment/distance learning throughout a student’s high school career through private institutions, online, or community colleges. No more than 20 required course credits may be earned through distance learning/concurrent enrollment. Sequoia HS is NOT responsible for any fees.
