Sequoia High School Sport and Spirit Boosters Mission:
The mission of the SHS Sport and Spirit Boosters organization is to support all Sequoia athletic teams and promote school spirit.. We arrange Sports Awards Nights, run concessions at football games, assist teams with funding for uniforms & equipment, maintain the MVP and Championship Banners in the gym, fund an annual scholarship, and, most importantly, assist in providing safe transportation for our athletes to as many events as possible.

Proceeds passed on to the teams are raised through direct donations and fundraising events, for which volunteers are always needed.  The Sequoia High School Sport & Spirit Boosters are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.   Our Tax-ID is 94-3170336.


Annual Fundraising Events

The Sports Boosters sell concessions at home football games, and spirit wear at home football and basketball games.  We can also be found at many school sponsored parent events throughout the year.  Visit our online store to shop anytime!
Our spring Crab Dinner and Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year (usually in March).  This event is open to the public.  We encourage alumni and community members to join us in supporting Sequoia Athletics!

2020-2021 Booster Meeting Calendar - VIRTUAL MEETINGS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

We will send out a link to the onine meeting in the week before each occurrance.


Meetings occur in the Faculty Lounge, 2nd Floor, Room 233
at 7:00 PM, usually on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

What happens at the meetings?

  • We hear updates on the Athletic programs from the AVP and Athletic Director
  • We vote* on grant requests that coaches present (to fund equipment, uniforms, tournament fees, etc)
  • We hear from committees and discuss and plan upcoming fundraising events
  • We hear a report from the Treasurer on our financial status
* to participate in voting, you must have attended two out of the last three of the meetings
