Naviance College Organization SoftwareTop of Page

Sequoia's Guidance Department, which includes the College/Career Center and IB, all use Naviance as one of the main preparation, organization and communication tools for students' post-secondary (life after high school) planning.

Some of the Activities Include:
  • Weekly grade-level email communication from Ms. Ignaitis about college information, upcoming events and student opportunities.
  • Emails to students from individual guidance counselors
  • Grade-level classroom activities such as College and Scholarship Searches, Career and Personality Assessments, and Resume Writing (Students keep track of all their awards and activities)
  • Completing tasks during the application process. Seniors must use Naviance to request letters of recommendation or documents from the school (including transcripts).
  • Signing up for college visits
  • Creating a Four-Year Plan with their counselors

It is important for all students to use Naviance if they are planning on going to college. Students should keep track of colleges they are interested in by listing them on their College tab. Students should also update their resumes whenever they begin activities or receive awards. Students can access Naviance through the school's website wherever internet is available.

It is also important to read the weekly emails to keep informed about events and opportunities. Please note that if you need to contact Ms Ignaitis, you must use her email or this website (attempting to reply to the weekly email will not work).

Parents can get accounts to log on and see their child's account but do not have access to change any information. See below on how to get a parent account.
  • Click here to enter Naviance
